This is a comprehensive renovation intervention in one of the original homes, with the great challenge of connecting it, expanding it and relating it to the adjacent home, renovated 15 years ago, establishing a global dialogue of continuity between them.

With careful and precise constructive intervention, a larger housing unit and a new space are generated, as a pavilion for guests, which can be accessed independently or internally from the main home.

Larger and better connected spaces are configured, with alternative routes around the interior courtyards. New interior views are generated between the rooms and interesting perspectives towards the port from all of them.

The control of natural light inside, together with the continuity of careful materiality and the extension of a thoughtful color scheme, give the new habitat a welcoming, unified and timeless atmosphere.

The current intervention is conceived as an evolutionary structure over time, adaptable to the future needs of the inhabitants, with the possibility of transforming into one, two or three independent units. To this end, a border strategy and a prepared system of facilities have been planned that, through bypasses, interruptions and connections, will allow this metamorphosis of the units in an agile and efficient way.
